SCSS is planning to include a student session (PhD but also Master students) and is calling for participation. Themes are broadly related to those of SCSS, described on the Home.
We invite PhD students in the first place, but also Post-Doc and Master students to submit an abstract that introduces their PhD/Master work. It should briefly describe:
– the background of their PhD work
– what has been done, or/and what is planned to be done.
– eventually a brief comparison with related works, in a word, what is new?
The abstract can be from 1 to 6 pages in EPTCS format and submitted through EasyChair. Deadline is July 23. The benefits for students, young researchers are:
(a) visibility on their work
(b) opportunity for feedback/discussion with other young people, and the more senior attendees.
(c) abstract referenced in EPTCS.
Foreign students can attend online, while students from Japan are expected to attend in person. See the registration page for the attendance fees.
