Excursion

We are going to TOKYO SKYTREE and ASAKUSA as an excursion on the 29th from 4 pm.

Tokyo Skytree, standing majestically at 634 meters (2,080 feet), is the tallest structure in Japan and the third tallest in the world. Located in the Sumida Ward of Tokyo, this impressive broadcasting, restaurant, and observation tower was completed in 2012. It was designed to be a new landmark for Tokyo and a symbol of the city’s modernity and progress. The Skytree offers panoramic views of Tokyo and, on clear days, even Mount Fuji. In addition to its observation decks, Tokyo Skytree houses a variety of shops, restaurants, and an aquarium. It has become a popular destination for both tourists and locals, offering a unique perspective on Tokyo’s dynamic skyline and vibrant city life.

Asakusa, located in the heart of Tokyo, is a vibrant and historic district renowned for its rich cultural heritage and traditional charm. One of the most famous attractions in Asakusa is Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest and most significant Buddhist temple. Founded in 628 AD, Senso-ji is a major pilgrimage site and a focal point for local festivals. The approach to the temple, known as Nakamise-dori, is lined with bustling street vendors selling traditional snacks, souvenirs, and crafts, creating a lively atmosphere that captures the essence of old Tokyo. Blending tradition with modernity, Asakusa is a must-visit destination for those seeking to explore Tokyo’s rich cultural heritage while enjoying its vibrant urban life.
